In this article, we are presenting you a life story of Kelsey Byers, who made an amazing transformation of her body in a very strange way.

She, as a girl didn’t have a weight problem, and she was very active in school and even categorized herself as a “string bean.” During the college time, due to the changing of the way of living (the fast food restaurants and the temptation of happy hours were the new norms). As she explained, she was feeling miserable and shocked — mostly because she let herself get that far.

Describing her before and after photo above, Kelsey explained that in the period when the left photo was taken, she was eating about 1,100 unhealthy calories a day, but on the right, close to 2,000 healthy calories daily. According to her experience, the food is 80% of the results, while 20% goes to exercises.

The first her step was cutting back on happy hours and joined a local gym. She practiced three nights a week doing dynamic cardio for 45 minutes, increased healthy at-home meals and the number of her visits to her favorite restaurants were less.

The most difficult part of her life changing was to be disciplined, because the losing weight needs certain time and consistency.

She used to make short-term goals that revolved around her health, not for her look. It was her own biggest encouragement.

Being aware that keeping up the weight loss isn’t always easy, Kelsey used a few tricks that maintained her new healthy weight a little easier. For e.g. she ate for appetisers at least five meals a day.

She was losing weight, or at least she didn’t gain extra, even if she couldn’t go to the gym, thanks to the healthful meals she ate. She didn’t quit any lovely foods and drinks (cheeseburgers, pizzas, margaritas, etc.), however, finding healthy moderation was key.

The foods she indulged were plenty vegetables, fruits and lean protein.

Very important, according to Kelsey is to eat enough calories during the day, instead of not eating them and eat them at night.
